Menorcan cheese semi curds, artisan cheese made from raw cow's milk, matured for 2-5 months of firm dough yellowish ivory and orange / brown crust. Flavored milk and more evolved aromas, with reminiscences of butter and toasted nuts, half oral persistence, it has developed the typical "bouquet" Mahon-Menorca.
Cheese "Binibeca" has been awarded in the ninth edition in July 2009, the best artisan cheese with Protected Designation of Origin Mahon-Menorca, in the categories of best hard cheese and cheese curds better.
The following year, he returned to be winning in the tenth competition for best piece of artisan cheese cured with Designation of Origin Mahon-Menorca.
